The year of “I can”

“I wish I could tell you the perfect thing. Some magic string of words. The perfect advice that will make it all ok. But I can’t. What I can tell you is that everything will work out. One way or another. The world has an odd way of coming together when we least expect it if we just let it.”

~B. Pearl

Life is complicated. It’s messy, beautiful, painful, and joyous all wrapped into one. At times I feel powerless in my little attempt to help others. Words may feel futile in the wake of life’s challenges. But words are everything. Even when it’s as simple as “I can”. Short. Sweet. Powerful. To the point. As I step into 2012, I am unsure of what life holds for me. I don’t know how my cards will play out. I’m faced with a year of challenge, change, and excitement as I work toward my dream of completing my educational pursuits. All I can do is keep an open heart, trust in the power of perseverance, and remind myself that despite life’s greatest curve balls everything will work out in the end. This is the year of “I can”.

I honestly believe that perseverance is one of life’s most valuable tools. A skill that will help carry you through all things.

I can. You can. We can do all things.

Have a fabulous 2012!!

All my Love,

Signature

  3. I'm really meditating on "dukkha" and accepting every second of the day as face value.
I feel like I can share things like this with you without you thinking I'm weird!
